Biology 235 Human Anatomy and Physiology
Study Guide
How to Use the Course Materials
Your course package contains an excellent e-textbook and its accompanying learning resources. This Study Guide contains only the learning objectives we expect you to be able to fulfil after you have completed each chapter, and a list of the key terms that you must learn. You will find both to be invaluable tools for preparing for the midterm and final examinations.
Begin your study of each chapter by reading in this Study Guide the objectives, in conjunction with the list of “Keywords and Topics” for each objective.
Note: Always have this Study Guide open next to your e-textbook, and use the list of “Keywords and Topics” as a guide as you work through each chapter.
Be prepared to read the e-textbook material at least twice: once to get an overview and a second time to make notes. Use the questions and problems presented in the e-textbook’s online resources to test your understanding of the material presented, and to ensure that your notes are complete. Then, refer back to the chapter objectives in this Study Guide, and make certain that you can meet them. Note that the e-textbook also contains self-quiz and critical-thinking questions that you can use to test your comprehension of the significant material.
Additional resources are available at the textbook publisher’s Book Companion website, WileyPLUS.
